Former MLB pitcher Mitch Williams has won a $1.5 million judgment in a civil suit against MLB Network, which fired him as an analyst in 2014 after disputed reports about his behavior at his son’s youth baseball games, Philly.com reported.
Floyd had reportedly tested positive for alcohol at least three times earlier this month while on house arrest. After initially denying the report as totally false, he released a statement through ESPN’s Adam Schefter stating he was unaware that the drinks contain alcohol after being encouraged by the team to consume kombucha tea drinks.
Vikings chief operating officer Kevin Warren wrote a letter to Floyd’s attorney declaring his support for the wideout’s claim.
Floyd could face jail time if the Arizona court finds he violated the terms of his punishment for a December 2016 arrest on driving under the influence charges. He was sentenced in February to 24 days in jail followed by 96 days under house arrest, but he successfully petitioned the court last month to transfer his house arrest from Arizona to Minnesota so he could join his new team in offseason activities.
The duo of Prescott and Elliott, plus one of the most consistent offensive lines in the league, paved the way for the teams 13-3 finish in 2016. The Cowboys were the top seed in the NFC but fell short in the divisional round of the playoffs against the Packers.
